Wish me a Happy Birthday

Do you all know what today is?  That's right!  It's my birthday.  And, the only thing I would love for my birthday besides world peace, a unicorn and Enrique Iglesias' mole is for you all to have my book. So...from the same people that brought you the Frankly Doria Show (meaning me -- the host), comes...

"It's a Sign, Stupid!"

This steamy love story and romance novel is sure to make your loins sizzle.  Oops, wrong book!  Sorry.  The jacket copy for It's a Sign, Stupid reads as follows:

A must read for anyone on a spiritual journey. Former television news reporter, Mike Doria investigates and uncovers all the "signs" given to him as child and in adulthood that helped him recognize his own journey. This unique and fascinating look at various signs, symbols and life events is written from an autobiographical viewpoint but gives readers concepts, ideas and tools to help them recognize a spiritual journey and the importance of this life-changing circumstance. "It's a Sign, Stupid!" is written for anyone, but is especially eye-opening for those who want to understand their purpose in life and how to fulfill their destiny. Often told he sees things differently, Mike Doria extracts the meaning from situations and life events that go above and beyond any modern day diagnoses. The title of a book says it all -- you can look at something as just a sign or as a "sign." As a seeker of Truth by nature, Doria decodes his journey with the hope to teach others who want to learn more about themselves, the Universe and the magic in between.

Life is Beautiful

A softer side to Mike Doria Episode 12: "Life is Beautiful" -- but only slightly.  Feeling that God wants him to be more uplifting to others, Doria struggles to find a balance, but manages to do so.  In the news, we visit Kris Black (featured in Episode 4: Pay it Forward who returns as a special correspondant regarding the recent Loch Ness Monster sighting.  However, we must first get a pronunciation lesson.  We've been saying "Loch" wrong.  Excited for the first Life is Beautiful Festival in downtown Las Vegas (featuring The Killers and Kings of Leon) we call the Head of Culinary, Jolene Mannina for the festival because we can't have fun on an empty stomach.  We come out of that interview with an exclusive recipe for you to try at home.  The lovely Courtney Love's "Celebrity Skin" makes its way into the show after Mike can't rave enough about her recent concert.  The MIA "A-ha Moment" returns this week as Mike tries to repair Billy Ray Cyrus' achey breaky heart currently suffering from depression.  And, did Robin Thicke blur some lines his hit song?  Well, who cares, Mike shares three other songs in which the music of "Blurred Lines" could fit.  And for the record -- we think Robin Thicke is the bomb!  Remember - live life to the fullest.  It is beautiful.

What A Tweetheart

It's review time for Mike Doria now that he has 10 Episodes under his belt.  On Episode 11: What a Tweetheart, he has his friend Drea, a former radio DJ and current Celebrity Reporter deliver his score.  With 1 being the worst and 5 being the best, how will he fare?  Drea also chats about the the epic Twitter fight between Lady Gaga and Perez Hilton and gives us the scoop on LaLa, Kanye West and Taylor Swift.  In the news, the Government now admits to an Area 51 but is still tight lipped on the goings on at this research facility.  Mike, however has a live report with an Alien to gain more details -- not the one who abducted him last week.  Also in this episode -- how Ke$ha one upped the Westboro Baptists and where to find the mother of all online "How To" guides.

Child Probesity

Mike Doria gets *brave this week with the exploration of conspiracy theories on Episode 10: Child Probesity.  The backlash begins right away when mike can't even get past the introduction to the episode without getting abducted.  We can't tell you what happens after -- most because of  memory erasing and some laziness while typing -- but Mike returns safely to Earth to deliver the week's news, a commentary regaring Katy Perry's new song "Roar" and finishes out the segment with the debut of his world premier single "Piece of Work."  Doria then turns his focus to left-handed people (he is one as well) to begin his look into conspiracy theories.  This leads him to call the Queen of England followed by Conspiracy Researcher "Citizen X" whose real name we're protecting.  Listen at your own risk.
